Understanding the Benefits of Spider Vein Treatment

If you have spider veins, you may wonder why you should seek treatment for them. They are most likely not causing you any discomfort or physical problems that bother you daily. However, they are almost definitely causing you emotional repercussions especially as they grow and multiply with age. By seeking treatment for these annoying little veins, you can feel better about yourself again, enjoy letting your skin be seen in public and generally feel more confident and happier with your body. Here are a few things that spider vein treatment can do for you.

Reveal Gorgeous Skin

Spider vein treatment options can get rid of the unsightly marks that these surface-level veins have made on your skin. These tiny problematic veins rest directly under the surface of your skin, which is why they appear blue, purple or red. They appear in circular patterns, which is what earned them their nickname. They may also be referred to as telangiectasias.

Provide Permanent Results

We rely on both non-invasive and minimally-invasive spider vein treatment options to take care of these nuisances. One option that works better for larger spider veins, such as those found on the legs, is called sclerotherapy. This is the gold standard of vein treatments because it is so effective and is also quite safe. With sclerotherapy, we simply inject the primary problem vein with an irritating solution to cause the vein to close and cut off the blood supply to the rest of the feeder veins.

Give You Back Your Confidence

Because spider veins produce mainly mental side effects rather than physical ones, you may be surprised at just how beneficial treatment can be. Once your veins fade from sight over the next few months, you can feel more confident in your skin and will love showing off your legs again.

Even though spider veins almost never cause physical problems and rarely turn into any more concerning issues, they can leave you feeling discontent with your skin and uncomfortable when you are around others. After a complete set of treatments with us, you can feel great about your body again and proud to show off your skin. You can stop hiding underneath long pants and skirts and can enjoy showing off your legs. Plus, you can rest assured that the treated veins are gone for good.

To learn more about your spider vein treatment options and to discover how you can rekindle your confidence in your body, simply visit Pacific Vein Care in McHenry, IL. Contact us today to schedule your consultation!
