FREE Initial Consultation

In support of our neighbors in these difficult economic times, we are continuing free initial consultations. This consultation includes a directed history, leg photography and a referral from our doctors to obtain an ultrasound if needed. Please call us at 815-759-2368 if you have any questions.

Insurance Information

Since varicose veins are considered a medical disease, Medicare and most insurance carriers will cover your treatment if your condition is symptomatic.

We will be happy to check for you when you call. Our professional insurance specialists will be actively involved in your treatment from obtaining pre-authorization for medically necessary tests and procedures to ensuring we utilize all the benefits in your specific plan.

Financing Options

At Pacific Vein Care, we offer financial assistance so you aren’t forced to go over budget for your varicose vein treatment, including:

  • Acceptance of all major credit cards
  • Flexible interest-free payment plans via CareCredit. To apply for a CareCredit card, click here.
  • Pricing reviews for uninsured patients.

Please keep in mind that we do not accept public aid plans as most do not cover this treatment. Our staff will file all paperwork to your insurance company and you will be responsible for co-pays and deductibles.

For those who are uninsured or underinsured, we provide a “pay at the time of service” discount for consultation and treatment. Patients with high deductibles may also feel free to choose this option. Please give us a call at (815) 759-2368 if you would like more information.

Cancellations

In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, kindly provide 24 hours notice. Your consideration in this matter will allow us to accommodate other patients who could benefit from an appointment. Pacific Vein Care will assess a $100 fee for any Procedure or $50.00 fee for any Office visits or ultrasounds cancelled within the 24 hours prior to the appointment time.

Pacific Vein Care is taking the following measures to ensure you have healthy and safe access to our services.

  • Prior to every visit, we will ask screening questions to ensure the safest possible environment for both patients and your healthcare providers.
  • Associate wellness and temperature checks will be completed prior to the start of every shift.
  • We ask that ALL patients and associates wear masks upon entering the office.
  • Upon entry to our office, there will be hand sanitizer readily available.
  • You will be taken to a treatment room immediately on your arrival to complete your consultation or treatment in a private space disinfected immediately before and after your visit.
  • We will encourage safe distancing whenever possible. Please note the social distancing markers at the front desk.
  • We are eliminating coffee service and water bottles from our waiting area to reduce the chance of community transmission.
  • Each day we are screening our staff and following CDC guidelines regarding any members who are ill or who have had possible exposure.
  • If payment is required, we are encouraging no-touch payment methods. We are able to take payments over the phone using credit or debit cards.
  • If you, the patient, experience a cough or fever, or have recently visited any country with a CDC travel alert level III in the last month, or have come into close contact with people who have, please call us to reschedule. Patients will not incur any last-minute cancellation fees.

We will keep you updated. Please be assured that we will follow the CDC guidelines and continue to assess and update our protocols. Please feel free to inform us of any additional safeguards that we may be able to provide for you. We encourage you to help us!
