Top Benefits of Sclerotherapy for Varicose Veins

A pair of lady's legs in white high-heeled pumps on a cobblestone walk carrying a light blue purse

Many women are unhappy and frustrated with the unsightly blood vessels on their legs, which normally take a dramatic toll on their appearance. If you want to wear a dress again without covering your legs with dark stockings, you might want to seek professional treatment and have the appearance of your varicose veins diminished. Rather than undergo invasive treatment, you can achieve the appearance you want and avoid unwanted symptoms by taking advantage of the many benefits of sclerotherapy—some are highlighted below.

Low-Risk

Sclerotherapy is low-risk and among the safest cosmetic procedures performed by expert technicians worldwide. It’s non-surgical and requires no anesthesia or removing of tissue or skin. In fact, you can resume normal activities right after treatment. Some patients may experience some mild itching and burning during the injections, but this eventually fades in the course of treatment.

Easy and Fast

Sclerotherapy doesn’t take much of a patient’s time. It typically takes less than an hour to complete the entire procedure. It’s also a simple procedure, as the doctor can easily administer the entire treatment in their office. Also, there’s usually no required preparation for treatment, though your physician may request you to stop using certain medications for a few days. Otherwise, after treatment, you can get back to living your life and doing the things you love.

More Confidence

Each sclerotherapy treatment aims to eliminate all varicose veins conspicuous on the skin. If you have been longing to wear dresses, skirts, or shorts but simply can’t because of the bulging leg veins, you can look forward to rocking your favorite outfits after undergoing sclerotherapy. This treatment gives you a second chance to try on any outfit you think will make your body look more stunning and feel more confident in yourself.

Suitable for Most Patients

Sclerotherapy treatment can be administered safely and successfully on most patients, especially those who report good overall health. Before treatment, your healthcare provider may recommend first that you be of a reasonable weight and also cut back on habits like drinking or smoking. Otherwise, if you have optimal health, you should be allowed to undergo treatment.

Imagine how great it would feel to have smooth, young-looking legs again, free from discomfort. At Pacific Vein Care we can help you achieve just that and other benefits so that you can resume your life without having to deal with unsightly leg veins. Call today and schedule a consultation with one of our expert technicians and see how they can help with achieving your goals.
