The Benefits of Sclerotherapy for Varicose and Spider Vein Treatment

A woman relaxing on her bed in blue shorts with arms around her legs

When you’ve got spider or varicose veins, it may be hard to look forward to wearing new shorts or having a day out at the beach. Not only do spider and varicose veins affect you personally, but they’re also often painful and can bring about other health issues. Sclerotherapy is a safe, convenient, and simple procedure that can resolve venous issues such as varicose or spider veins. Here are some of the benefits of sclerotherapy for spider and varicose vein treatment.

Improved Appearance

The most obvious benefit of sclerotherapy is that it helps improve appearance. You don’t have to worry about bulging and blue veins anymore. Your legs will look smoother and healthier.

More Confidence

If you’ve previously shunned wearing shorts, skirts, or dresses due to varicose or spider veins, you should be excited to wear your favorite clothes after going through sclerotherapy. This treatment provides you with the confidence to resume wearing outfits that you avoided due to blue or bulging veins.

Safe

Sclerotherapy remains one of the safest non-surgical procedures available today. It doesn’t involve any removal or cutting of tissue or skin. Instead, a solution is injected into the affected veins to make them collapse and disappear.

Available for Almost Everyone

Sclerotherapy can be done safely on most people.

Fast

The procedure usually doesn’t take much time to administer.

Pain Relief

While some people don’t suffer pain from their spider or varicose veins, many others do experience discomfort because of these conditions. Sclerotherapy relieves the aching and pain that may accompany varicose or spider veins in the legs.

No Hospital Stay

Unlike surgery, you’ll be able to resume your usual activities the same day. Of course, our doctor is the one to decide, but this isn’t a treatment that’ll leave you laid up for a week.

Recovery is simple and fast. In fact, there’s barely any downtime involved. You should be able to resume your usual activities the same day.

Enjoy These Benefits for Yourself

Unwanted veins don’t have to disrupt your daily life anymore. Make an appointment at Pacific Vein Care to learn more about your treatment options. Contact us today to book a consultation at our office in McHenry!
