Is Endovenous Ablation Your Best Treatment Option?

A woman's thigh and knee with visible varicose veins

If you are suffering from varicose veins, you may want to consider endovenous ablation treatment to effectively address your condition. This treatment option utilizes radio-frequency (RF) to treat the vein in an in-office procedure that requires significantly less downtime than surgical treatment options.

The team at Pacific Vein Care is here to answer all of your questions relating to endovenous ablation and how it can help your situation. RF ablation treatments are growing in popularity due to their non-invasive nature and high level of effectiveness. Patients with moderate vein issues often find that this type of treatment is sufficient to correct their venous issues.

Am I a Good Candidate for Endovenous Ablation?

Unfortunately, vein diseases will not clear up or go away on their own, and will likely worsen over time. If you are suffering from a vein disease or disorder it is typically best to treat the affected vein as soon as possible. Endovenous ablation is a suitable course of treatment for patients whose vein disease is not too far advanced and whose treatment needs do not yet require surgery. If you are ready to get rid of your varicose or ropey veins, it’s time to consider an RF treatment that can help you to leave this condition behind!

What are Common Symptoms of Venous Diseases and Conditions?

Many patients will not be aware of their vein condition until it begins to cause them significant problems, because many common symptoms of vein disease are often attributed to other factors. If you suffer from pain and fatigue in your legs not caused by overuse or another physical injury, your veins may be the culprit. Other common symptoms include itching, swelling, and a burning sensation in the affected area. If you are experiencing these symptoms and are noticing that they are becoming worse or you are experiencing them more frequently, it’s time to have your veins checked. Postponing treatment will only make the situation worse, and there is no reason to put off dealing with the problem immediately.

If you are concerned about your vein health or are having problems caused by varicose veins, it’s time to learn more about how endovenous ablation can help you. Contact the team at Pacific Vein Care today to schedule a consultation to review the available treatment options. We are conveniently located in McHenry, IL.
