Botox should always be administered by a qualified professional in a medical setting, such as a doctor’s office or medical spa. Side effects from Botox are rare, but occasionally an allergic reaction or bruising at the injection site can occur. It is important to fully disclose all current medications and natural or herbal remedies before receiving Botox injections due to possible interactions between drugs.
