How Sclerotherapy Works

Sclerotherapy Aftercare
To support the treated veins, good compression stockings are typically needed for a set time after the treatment. Avoid taking anti-inflammatory medications before and after treatment because they can interfere with the blood’s ability to clot. While activity helps to reduce the chance of blood clots, it is typically recommended to avoid aerobic activities such as running or lifting weights for a couple of days.
