Our Vein Clinic Provides Pain-free Vein Treatments for Round Lake Residents

Many people believe that varicose veins are only a cosmetic concern, but they can lead to many other serious health complications if left untreated. And if both your mother and father have vein disease, this increases your risks by nearly 90% that you too will have varicose veins and the pain associated with untreated vein disease. The pain and swelling often associated with your lower extremities are frequently your first clue to deeper health issues on the horizon. And new research suggests that people with varicose veins may also have a higher risk of developing a clot in the deeper veins of the legs, known as deep-vein thrombosis or DVT.

With several in-office procedures to treat the pain and discomfort associated with vein disease, there is really no reason to put off treatment. Endovenous Ablation, Sclerotherapy, and Ambulatory Phlebectomy are all available procedures that Pacific Vein Care might recommend for your treatment. All of these procedures generally involve various methods of closing off and diverting the blood flow from the diseased vein to other functioning veins to allow for better circulation, pain relief, and overall vascular health. Often you can plan to be back on your feet the very next day!

If both of your parents have varicose veins, you have a 90 percent chance of having it as well.
